REBECCA TESFAYE

Rebecca Tesfaye is an attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP. As an associate at the firm, Rebecca focuses on advising banks and financial technology companies on various state and federal regulatory and enforcement matters.

Rebecca was first drawn to Literacy Trust’s mission after volunteering in reading programs in New York City schools. Here, she had first hand experience with children struggling to read at their grade level, and became interested in using her legal experience to help further Literacy Trust’s cause. In addition to her work with Literacy Trust, Rebecca serves as a mentor in the America Needs You program which provides career development and leadership training to first-generation college students.

Rebecca lives in Washington D.C. and enjoys traveling, running, hiking, reading, and spending time with her two-year old lab Bear.
