Literacy Trust’s team is made up of literacy experts who have worked as teachers, coaches, leaders, trainers, and curriculum & assessment designers in cities across the country.
With an eye for literacy instruction and data analysis, our team is positioned perfectly to help any school, community organization, or district network to align their curriculum with the best reading intervention practices.
OUR APPROACH
Beginning with a Needs Assessment, our consulting partners receive ongoing training and coaching, data analysis guidance, and more. Partners work with our team to tailor the specific system improvements they hope to achieve, and Literacy Trust works with the partner on-site or online as needed.
The goal of each of our consulting partnerships is to enhance the literacy core in each of the learning communities that we support. We leverage what already exists in those communities–talented, passionate adults–to create more and better reading teachers who can work with students with various backgrounds and needs. Family members, paras, coaches, teachers, after-school staff, and educators of all kinds can help children become readers if they have the right tools in their toolkits, and we are here to help with that.
