Joseph Martinez is the Salesforce System Administrator at Literacy Trust. He supports day-to-day configurations, support, maintenance and improvements of our CRM platform. His role is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst.
Joseph started his professional career as a sales associate at Aeropostale and would later become a Sales Manager after one year. During his time there he also worked part-time as Peer Navigator for an LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization in Long Island called Pride for Youth. In 2018 he began a new career path in the world of Salesforce. He was part of an upcoming nonprofit’s 10 week Salesforce Administrator bootcamp called PepUp Tech and there he learned all the basics of Salesforce and was exposed to the ‘Ohana’ of Salesforce. Before Literacy Trust, Joseph worked as an Associate Consultant/System Administrator for NowitMatters, a consulting agency full of Salesforce experts that helps other nonprofits use Salesforce.
When not at Literacy Trust, Joseph loves spending his time watching Crime Shows, Rupaul's Drag Race, and playing video games.
